Arts and Culture Strategic Plan Update

The Town of Silverthorne, Colorado, is seeking a qualified consultant, or team of consultants, to prepare an update to the 2016 Silverthorne Arts and Culture Strategic Plan.  The 2016 plan guides arts and culture programs within the Town through a vision, mission, goals and recommendations that complement existing Town guiding documents and are based upon research from a comprehensive public process, an economic impact study, and an inventory of current programs, businesses, and amenities related to arts and culture in Silverthorne and surrounding communities.  The plan incorporates accepted municipal arts and culture standards, particularly as they are used in comparable mountain town and resort areas.   

INTRODUCTION

The Town of Silverthorne, Colorado, is seeking a qualified consultant, or team of consultants, to facilitate a comprehensive public process and prepare an update to the 2016 Arts and Culture Strategic Plan.  This Request for Proposals is being publicly advertised and forwarded to select firms who have been identified as having experience with similar plans.  Interested firms must submit proposals by 5:00 p.m. MST on February 12, 2024.  Late proposals will not be accepted.  Please submit proposals electronically to:

The most qualified firms will be asked to attend an interview on February 28 or 29, 2024.  Firms will be notified if they are selected for an interview by February 20, 2024.  If your firm is asked to attend an interview, be prepared to discuss your proposal and your approach to this project.  Interviews will last up to ninety (90) minutes.  Key personnel that will be committed to the project are expected to attend the interview.  A copy of the Town’s standard consultant services contract will be provided to the firms selected for an interview.  The Town anticipates awarding the contract on March 8, 2024.

Questions regarding this RFP and project must be submitted in writing to Sydney Schwab, Arts and Culture Manager, at the e-mail address listed above, no later than 5 p.m. on January 31, 2024.  All questions will be answered via e-mail, with a courtesy copy to all other known proposers, by 5 p.m. on February 2, 2024.
